The proceedings include papers based on reports delivered at the conference “Manifestation of deep-water processes on sea surface” held on February 11-12, 2003 (Institute of Applied Physics, RAS, Nizhny Novgorod).

Hydrodynamic models of processes on ocean surface and in near-surface layers are considered. Results of field researches on sea surface and in near-water atmospheric layers influenced by deep-water processes and radar sounding of film slicks on sea surface are presented. Modified optical and radar methods for recording ocean surface parameters are described.

The proceedings are intended for specialists-oceanographers dealing with various ocean aspects.
